I build and test on real PrestaShop shops, following PrestaShop and payment-industry best practices. Fred tests so you don’t have to.
Staging is the best place to configure and review. When that is not practical, Stealth Mode controls who sees the module. Use Stripe test mode separately for simulated payments, and check your own checkout before enabling live payments.
International payments
Enable your preferred methods in Stripe. PH Stripe supplies the order context; Stripe makes the final eligibility decision.
Shop country
Your store remains the merchant. A visitor changing country does not rewrite your shop’s default country or currency.
Order country
The country associated with the order helps establish the payment context sent to Stripe.
Order currency
Stripe evaluates transaction currency, account capabilities, amount limits and method-specific requirements.
Native PrestaShop payment restrictions remain part of whether the module is displayed. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.
Why I built PH Stripe
I built PH Stripe to address the friction I was seeing at payment on customer shops. The goal is straightforward: help more shoppers finish their order, and give you better control over the payment work that follows.
