Does Geo Targeting Pro change my tax or price rules?

No. It helps PrestaShop choose the correct country context first. Your existing tax, price, currency, language, and payment configuration remains responsible for the final storefront behavior. Guest shipping localization is not handled by Geo Targeting Pro; that belongs to PrestaShop Shipping Commander.

Does it localize guest shipping options?

No. PrestaShop does not reliably support guest shipping localization when the visitor is not using the default country. Geo Targeting Pro focuses on country context for localization, pricing, tax, currency, language, payment behavior, bot handling, and access rules. Guest shipping localization is handled by PrestaShop Shipping Commander.

Can I test country behavior before relying on live traffic?

Yes. This module does not use stealth mode, but it does include simulator and diagnostic tools so you can test by selected country, IP address, and bot-style behavior directly from the admin.

Can it help with bots and search engine localization?

Yes. It includes bot-aware handling with an option to avoid IP geo-localization for recognized crawlers and use the shop default country instead. Country/language detection from URL patterns such as /en-us/ or /de-dk/ is supported when used with the PrestaHeroes Advanced Shop URL Localization module.

Can I block abusive countries or IPs?

Yes. Selected IPs or countries can be blocked directly from module configuration using 403 access denial.

Does URL-based country and language detection work by itself?

URL-based country-language detection for patterns such as /en-us/ or /de-dk/ requires the PrestaHeroes Advanced Shop URL Localization module. Geo Targeting Pro can then use those localized URL patterns as part of the country decision.

Which MaxMind option is included?

Geo Targeting Pro comes pre-packaged with premium GeoIP2 Country database support. GeoLite2-City is also supported, and Precision Country can be used when MaxMind Precision account credentials are available.

Is the plugin able to manage different prices by product AND counrty?
